  • The Top 200 Colleges for Indigenous Students
  • Discovering a Brighter Future with Research Opportunities
  • Making Your Money Last All Year

Welcome to the 2022–2023 Special College Issue! For everyone who is college bound, or thinking about it — or already there — this one is for you. No matter where you are in your college journey, you are probably concerned about funding your higher education. AISES is here to help students find the scholarships and fellowships they need to stay in school. But college funding isn’t just about scholarships, fellowships, and grants. Read about how you can land a research job — a role that not only can help your cash flow but also offers great hands-on experience in your STEM field. Whatever your combination of college funding, this issue can help you learn how to make your money last all year by managing it strategically. When you’re looking for a financially savvy next academic step, there’s good information for you in our annual roster of “Top 200 Colleges for Indigenous Students,” followed by “Top Schools for Indigenous Students in Canada,” and a rundown of TCUs. You’ll also find profiles of a variety of colleges in “College Spotlight” and this year’s College Chapter Profile of the energetic crew at Montana State University. Finally, we hope you will be inspired after reading about how other young people are meeting challenges that are financial — and beyond — in “The Student Body.”
